Maths Interventions Post

We are looking for a teacher to provide extra maths sessions for the summer term to pupils in classes 5-8. The session would be for small groups (1-4 pupils) to provide maths catch-up sessions and also assist those with dyscalculia and other special educational needs. There may be times when you are asked to support small groups of children within a whole class setting. We are looking at approx. 10 hours a week over 3 days. The suitable candidate will need to have teaching experience as well as Steiner teacher training or QTS status . The salary will be £20.14 per hour (including holiday pay).

Maths Teacher Post

Do you have:

  • an enthusiasm for working with energetic and forthright young people, to encourage them to fulfil their potential both academically and personally?
  • a passion for and creative approaches to mixed ability teaching?
  • a drive to develop a curriculum that focuses on contextualised mathematical thinking?
  • a will and willingness to inform and empower the teachers of younger children?
  • The flexibility to work in other specialisms – particularly Physics.

Would you like:

  • lower than standard contact time?
  • to work with the Steiner lesson pedagogy, which provides the opportunity for meaning and depth of teaching and learning experiences?
  • the opportunity to develop schemes of work that develop both compassionate and critical thinkers?

We are looking for a teacher to work closely with our Maths Lead to develop and deliver a successful and exciting Maths curriculum. Our school pedagogy demands teaching approaches be contextualised, meaningful and personalised whilst successfully supporting progress towards and within the new GCSE framework. We expect our teachers to be empathetic and responsive to the development of the whole child and we aim to care for our staff with similar clarity and respect.QTS or equivalent Steiner Teaching qualification required. Science LEAD Post

Do you have:

  • a drive to lead a Science curriculum and planning that focuses on contextualised and meaningful learning whilst successfully progressing students through Core and Additional Science?
  • Proven ability to deliver Biology and Physics to GCSE level.

Would you like:

  • to work with the Steiner lesson pedagogy, which provides the opportunity for meaning and depth of teaching and learning experiences?
  • the opportunity to develop schemes of work that develop both compassionate and critical thinkers?

We are looking for a Science Lead to drive forward our successful and exciting Science curriculum. Our school pedagogy demands teaching approaches be contextualised, meaningful and personalised whilst successfully supporting progress towards and within the new GCSE framework. We expect our teachers to be empathetic and responsive to the development of the whole child and we aim to care for our staff with similar clarity and respect.
