THE PREMISES COMMITTEE

 Terms of reference

  • To maintain an overview of arrangements for
  1. b)   Repairs and maintenance of the operational school, in terms of  both indoor & outdoor spaces
  2. c)    Health and Safety of the operational school
  3. d)   Use of school premises by outside users
  • To ensure premises-related expenditure and premises-related funding bids are given proper priority by the Finance Committee
  • To maintain an overview of the school’s transport plan
  • To establish and keep under review an Accessibility Plan
  • Arrangements for preparation and serving of food

Policies under the remit of this committee:

Statutory policies:  Accessibility Plan; Health and safety; Risk Assessment; Supporting Pupils with Medical Needs

Non-statutory policies:  Lettings; Security and Safety; Accessibility Plan;  School Food; Display Screen Assessments; Driver Handbook Code of Practice; Premises Management
