Parent and Child Leader
Annual full-time salary: £18,178- 18,812 (FTE)
£11.07-11.45 per hour (incl. holiday pay)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified and experienced early years’ practitioner to set up, manage and run Parent and Child sessions at the Steiner Academy Hereford.
We are seeking a leader to work in our newly built pavilion to establish parent and child groups of up to 12 families per session. The number of session required will depend upon the interest generated.
The successful candidate will work to create a friendly supportive environment for their groups, where parents and children are encouraged to explore the Steiner Waldorf approach to education while developing beneficial social relationships.
Candidates should hold a Steiner Waldorf Early Years qualification and ideally have a successful track record of running parent and child sessions.
Each session will be 3 paid hours to allow for setup/take down and preparations. Extra hours will available to facilitate the initial set up phase. The appointment will initially be on a fixed-term contract of 6 months to allow for set up and establishment of these new facilities. The contract may then be extended and made permanent.
